Call to Order

Reeve Upham called the Special Meeting of the County of St. Paul to order at 8:30 a.m., Friday, October 23rd with all Council Members in attendance.  The following people attended the meeting via conference call as per section 199(1) of the M.G.A.:

Additions to the Agenda and Acceptance of Agenda

The waiver was signed by the Council members who attended the meeting via conference call and it was faxed to the County Office. The waiver was then signed by the Council members in the meeting room.

Agenda Items

3.1

Moosehills Slide

Leo deMoissac, Public Works Superintendent, provided an update on the Moosehills slide and the work that has been completed by Shamrock Valley Enterprises to remediate the surface water that may be adversely affecting the slide.  He advised Council that Shamrock Valley determined that there should be additional bores put in on the east end of the Moosehills road in order to completely address the surface water.

 

 

• Resolution #SM20151023.1001

  Motion to proceed with the additional emergent repairs on the east end of the Moosehills road, to a maximum of $225,000, to put in additional bores in order to remediate the water issues that may be adversely affecting the slide.

   

  As the meeting was held via Conference Call, Council members voted aloud.

  Carried

Business on the agenda being concluded, Chairman S. Upham adjourned the meeting.
