  • Gravel swap from CN to JMB (Frog Lake) to allow cure time on Richland road
  • Golden Gate pit update
  • Total Production in 2018
    • 205,000 yd3 gone through the crusher
    • 166,500 yd3 stockpiled
    • 40,000 yd3 eliminated

      

  • Ashmont to Mallaig water line update - Water flowing without issues.  Commissioning still ongoing with a few changes and adjustments.  Still under budget.
  • Spedden/Ashmont waterline - Tracer wire issues on 2 stations,  DM&D aware of the deficiencies and Urban Systems working to get them resolved.  Still under warranty.
  • Water issue in Ashmont - Main line repaired on main street and new service installed.
  • Plans for 2019
  • Maintenance work and general repairs are on going and the shop is constantly going.
  • All graders and sanding trucks have been suited up and ready for winter maintenance work as of Nov. 14.
  • Regular maintenance and repair work is beginning on summer construction equipment that is finished for the season.
  • CVIP inspections on belly dump gravel trailers and converters will be done during winter months as they are rarely used in the winter.
  • Dave Thompson has finished and passed his fourth year of Heavy Duty Apprenticeship and in early Jan. will have acquired enough hours to qualify as a Journeyman.
  • Reconstruction of TWP Rd 560
  • Road use with Secure to help fund repairs
  • Update on TWP Rd 580 upgrade plans
