Request for Gravel - Town of Elk Point

The Town of Elk Point is requesting gravel for one of their streets.

When they requested sand and gravel in the spring, we provided the sand at no cost and the gravel at cost.

Resolution for Natural Gas Carbon Tax Exemption for Ag Purposes

McRae Recreation Centre Association - Letter of Support

The McRae Recreation Centre Association is preparing a Community Initiative Grant application to aid with a renovation project. There are a number of upgrades including washroom renovations, kitchen renovations, replacing trim and carpeting, door replacements, new tin siding, painting, and some stage upgrades. The total costs for the project are approximately $46,100. 

The Association is requesting a letter of support from Council to attach with the application. 

If the Association is successful with its grant application, the Association is also requesting financial assistance from Council in the amount of $11,500, which is approximately 25% of the project costs. The Association will also contribute $11,500 from its own fundraising activities and current reserves.

Elk Point Fire Hall Cleaning

Town of Elk Point is requesting if the County is OK with an annual cleaning for the Elk Point Firehall.  It would include a thorough cleaning of the entire hall - washrooms. office, floors, walls, windows, shower area - except where trucks are parked.  They would like to tender it out.

Mallaig Museum - Request for funding

The Mallaig Museum is hosting a car and tractor show o August 27th.  They are hoping to promote the show and community by giving all show entries a $10 t-shirt.  They expect 150 exhibitors and are requesting financial assistance with the t-shirts.
