I am writing to you on behalf of ATCO Electric regarding several transmission projects taking place in Central East region of Alberta. Since our preliminary consultations in November, ATCO Electric has completed the referral package documents as part of their consultation process, and these were mailed out during the week of February 22 to 25.
To ensure the information reaches potential agencies with a regulatory interest in the projects, we are including in this email a hyperlink to the referral packages on ATCO Electric’s website which provide details on the proposed transmission projects. The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) must approve this project before construction can begin, and ATCO Electric will meet all AUC requirements.
Establishing good relations with all agencies affected by this project is important to ATCO Electric. Please take a moment to go over the project specific information and respond at your earliest convenience if St. Paul Countyhas any questions or potential concerns regarding this project.
